Ok for this one I painted some gold on a plain white card--When it dried I used thick acrilics in blueeee and covered up. When THAT dried I scratched little bits off so the gold would show through~ then added on bits of paper to make a collage(I looove the star tissue paper) Put on paper wings and a cutout from a magazine and sharpie and there XD The scan of this is strangly blurry! Upsetting .. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. everyone starts--they can do it any way they want. Paint it, draw it, collage, all three, etc.
Afterward you trade 2 and keep one. You keep making more and more and you get a mini art gallery of all different styles... And by seeing everyone else's style you learn more about your own voice!
It's a great idea, some people trade between schools or even outside of schools. I think there are even yahoo groups about it XD
