Ok for this one I painted some gold on a plain white card--When it dried I used thick acrilics in blueeee and covered up. When THAT dried I scratched little bits off so the gold would show through~ then added on bits of paper to make a collage(I looove the star tissue paper) Put on paper wings and a cutout from a magazine and sharpie and there XD The scan of this is strangly blurry! Upsetting .. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. everyone starts--they can do it any way they want. Paint it, draw it, collage, all three, etc.
Afterward you trade 2 and keep one. You keep making more and more and you get a mini art gallery of all different styles... And by seeing everyone else's style you learn more about your own voice!
It's a great idea, some people trade between schools or even outside of schools. I think there are even yahoo groups about it XD
